I’m Julia Viola

My artwork lets me feel delight in my heart and explore topics of happiness, peace and freedom. It makes me so happy to know that other people feel the same Joy I experience by making these unique paintings.

I have a normal life in Europe, but now I have the chance to experience the lifestyle and liveliness of Cancun, here in Mexico. My greatest goal is to bring the brightness of the ocean, the colorfulness of the culture, the joy for life of the population, and the sunshine of Cancun into the whole world.

What inspires the artwork?

Together with my family I have always been travelling and have visited a lot of great places all over the world already. Because of that I always try to put a part of this knowledge and vision into my art pieces. I want to bring the love and care that my parent have always given me to the people that need and deserve it. Also, I am deeply inspired by the sky, especially the moon, sun and clouds (the nice ones at least ;). The sunset means a lot to me because I get to enjoy it everyday from my window.

The artists history

As long as I can remember I always sat in my room painting something. Even when I was in third grade in English class, I always looked out of the window, payed attention indeed, but I was drawing the clouds. In Algebra I even made the exercises on the worksheets in a different order, just to get a nice pattern. I always tried to do something creative and to do everything on my own. Whether it was a happily painted stickman family for mothers day, a poorly built Santa Clause house for Christmas or the cloud from English class, I always found it to be very delightful. I shared the desire of fulfilling my greatest dream with my passion. And my way always led me back to painting.
